“As a first time mom I was so excited for Brooke’s newborn photo session at Cloud 9 Studios. I didn’t quite know what to expect, even though I have seen and admired Cloud 9′s work for years. I had concerns that I would have never thought of before being a mom. Would it be a long enough session? Would I be able to stop and feed her? Where could I change her? Will she be warm enough? How would she fall asleep for certain photos? And of course, if I was in any photo, how will this baby weight look? All of my concerns disappeared as soon as we talked with Jeanine at the start of the session. This experience was one of the most memorable and fun times we had as a new family. I’m Jeanine McLeod, owner of Cloud 9 Studios, and it wasn’t that long ago that I was right where you are. My daughter is 3 years old, and I am still amazed by how much she changes and grows every day. I want to share with you on how you can stop time and capture every stage of your baby’s all important first year of life.

With Baby Steps you receive the following:

Customized Studio Sessions – All your sessions are private and handled in a stress free manor at our studio. There is no waiting in lines or dealing with crowds. We have a variety of props and backgrounds to use or you can bring some of your own props to make the session more personal.

Time – That is right, your plan includes time. How is that you ask? Unlike chain studios we schedule plenty of time for your session. We are aware that a baby doesn’t always cooperate with our schedule and we allow for that. If you need to change a diaper, feed a bottle, etc we have a private baby room and time allowed. You will NEVER feel rushed!

Ordering Sessions – We create customized slide shows for your ordering sessions that include a variety of retouched and enhanced photos. We know how tired you and the baby are after a session. Therefore, we have you come back within a week of your portrait session to view and order your portraits.

Retouching – We know you think your baby is perfect and we will make them look that way! With our expert retouching we will fix that scratch, baby acne, and minor bumps and bruises. Now you don’t have to stress about life’s little imperfections.

Professional Products – All of your portraits will be professionally retouched, printed and assembled. Your prints will be sprayed for protection and your frames will be assembled ready to hang on your wall, complete with hanging kits.

Jeanine – That is right … you get me. As a mom of a 3 year old, I have been there, done that and I have the spit-up stains on my favorite shirt to prove it. Please don’t ever feel the need to apologize for a crying baby, or a poopy diaper. Aside from my own daughter I have photographed hundreds of babies and trust me, babies love me. I can make the silliest noises when necessary or sing songs for them or help with a burp or two. I LOVE babies and trust me … babies can tell when someone loves them. They are relaxed and enjoy their time with me. So I like to put myself up here as a bullet item!

Payment Plans – Yes! We do offer payment plans. We know the importance of the investment in your baby’s first year portraits and offer an interest free way to buy your portraits now and pay for them over several months.

5×5 Bevel Portraits – As an added bonus from each of your sessions we will provide you a 5×5 bevel mounted portrait of a single image.

Siblings – We love siblings and feel that they should be included in the growth of their new baby sister or brother. We welcome siblings in one of the 4 sessions. Typically we recommend the 9 month session and can chat with you about which session would work best for your family.

TuTus – If you have a daughter, oh my goodness, wait until you see my tutu collection. I am a self-proclaimed tutu addict! Don’t worry, we have plenty of options for boys too.

Since the BabySteps Program is a discounted package, it is very popular. As much as I wish we could photograph every baby in the area, we could not do that and still meet our extremely high standards of customer service and photographic excellence.
