To me there is nothing more important than family. I truly believe the love for “family” is what originally attracted me to photography. I have always loved capturing images of my family in all settings and occasions. However, I know how hard it is to actually schedule a session for your family. You know, the kind where YOU are actually in the images.
As moms and dads we spend so much time focusing on our children we forget that WE are a part of their childhood. We may want to wait until we lose 10 pounds or change our hair or … or … or…. whatever your excuse may be. Stop for a minute and think about your children. They don’t care what we look like. They love us unconditionally and when they grow up, they will look back and LOVE any and all portraits of them with their parents. We have to stop robbing our children of these precious memories just because we are too busy or don’t like something about our own appearance.
A family portrait session is a wonderful bonding opportunity for your family. We have fun in the studio or on location. Let us worry about the finer details so you can focus on enjoying the experience with your family. I promise that you will remember the experience of the day you and your family spend together for your family portrait for a long time. Plus you will have the portraits to remember the experience forever.
We offer a variety of family portrait sessions:
1. Studio Sessions - These are popular because we can relax inside the air conditioned studio, choose a background to suit your style and have fun photographing your family. Sessions typically last 45 minutes to and hour. During this time we can photograph the entire family, children alone, children with parents and yes, even the parents alone too! The session fee is $95.
2. Location Session – We love going to a location of your choice to make your session even more personal. We also have locations that we know photograph well and would be happy to make suggestions to you. Popular locations are Parks, Ybor City, University of Tampa, just to name a few. We still photograph for about an hour as we find that children just don’t last much longer than that. The session fee is $95. If the location is outside the Wesley Chapel area we require a $350 retainer towards your order at the time of booking your session.
3. Beach Portraits – We live in Florida, so yes Beach Portraits are very popular! Nothing depicts classic “Florida” like a beach portrait session. These are carefully scheduled the hour before sunset and typically only in the Spring and Fall. To reserve a Beach Session we require a $500 retainer towards your order; $150 of that is your session fee, the rest is used to purchase products during your ordering session.
