Wesley Chapel and Tampa’s Premier Child Portrait Photograph – 3 Year Portraits
I realized the other day that I haven’t blogged about a child portrait session in a long time. Alana’s mom found us from a referral from Stars Organic Salon. We love Star. For those of you who have not been there, Donna does an amazing pedicure for moms and little girls! Eryn loves to go there and get “pretty toes”.
3 year old children are so much fun to photograph. They are full of life, haven’t found the cheeeeezy smile yet and take direction pretty well. Since I love being silly, making goofy noises and shaking my tail feather, 3 year old kids seem to think I am pretty funny. Alana was no exception. Her mom wanted to do the session outdoors to capture Alana’s spunky attitude and to show off how blue her eyes are. As soon as they walked through the door I knew it was going to be a fun session. Alana looked up at me, smiled and wanted to know when we were going to get started. Ha! My kind of girl.
During the session she reminded me a lot of Eryn. The way she responded to her mom, hugged her dad, the silly faces and her pouty face too. I love a good pouty face! When I could tell she was starting to get a bit “over the session” I sang a silly song and asked her if she wanted to photograph “quick quick quick” or “sloooooow”. She thought that was hysterical and I was able to get my last few images needed.
As an added bonus I was able to use my new umbrella, which everyone knows I always love using new props! Yippee.
Here are some of the images from the session. Enjoy … I hope they bring a smile to your face.
At the very end of the session dad jumped in for a big hug.
Thank you guys so much for bringing Alana to the studio for her 3 year portraits. She is such a beautiful little girl and I am looking forward to watching her grow up. Welcome to our studio family!
