It is December – Christmas is getting closer!

Wesley Chapel and New Tampa’s Premier Children’s Portrait Studio – Reduce your Holiday Stress

Wow. December 2nd. It is hard to believe that another Christmas is almost here. If you are like me, this is when the panic starts to set in. You realize your house isn’t ready, the shopping will never get done, the cookies will never get baked, and the gifts will never get wrapped. Ack! That is a lot of pressure we put on ourselves to create the perfect Christmas for our families and our children. The funny thing is, when I look back at the Christmases from my childhood , I don’t remember the hustle and bustle, I just remember the time spent with my family.

This year I am going to try and remember to breathe, slow down and make sure that Eryn gets as much quality time with her family as possible. Last night she got her visit with Santa at the studio and the look on her face and memory of that night will last a lifetime. I know the next few weeks will bring more memories like this and that is what I am going to try and help create for our family. I hope that you are able to do the same for yours.

That being said … We are busy busy busy at the studio trying to make sure that everyone’s portraits are beautifully retouched, printed, packaged and ready to go in time for gift giving. I feel like one of Santa’s Elves! :) Part of my Elf duty is to relieve the stress of my clients so that you can do the above and have a stress-free Holiday! I think that is what we all need this year … stress relief! So here are some ways I can help relieve your stress:

  1. Last Minute Gifts! If you are wrapping up presents and realize you need one more 8×10 for Grandma … just pick up the phone and let us know. We will get to work right away to make sure you have that present ready! We have frames in stock for last minute gift giving as well.
  2. Car-side service! If you are coming to pick up your portraits and have the kids with you … just pick up the phone and let us know you are outside. We will gladly bring your portraits out to the car so you don’t have to get them out of their car seats!
  3. Address Labels! Want to make your Christmas Cards even more personalized? Just shoot us an email to order a set of Return Address Labels with your favorite little portrait on them.
  4. Extra Cards! Did you miscount your list? Did you forget about Aunt Sally and Uncle George? Oops! No worries … we can print more cards for you. Just call and let us know how many you need. We can have them to you next day if you let us know by 2 pm.

Enjoy the next few weeks and please let us know how we can best serve you during this time of year.

Experience the Magic of Santa at Cloud 9 Studios

Wesley Chapel and Tampa’s Premier Children’s Photography Studio – Santa Portraits

Experience the Magic of a Santa session at Cloud 9 Studios.

Santa will be visiting our studio on December 1st and 4th.

Santa Portrait from 2010

What is the Cloud 9 Santa experience like? Trust us, it is like nothing your child has ever experienced, but everything they have imagined!

This year your child will enter our living room set with Santa Claus. They will sit together and look for their name on the Naughty/Nice list, then they will share some milk and cookies. After your child tells Santa what they want for Christmas, Santa can read them Twas the Night Before Christmas!

We will capture amazing portraits of your children with Santa and they will never forget this experience. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to live the magic of Santa with your children.

Sessions are almost completely booked.  We recently opened an extra hour of time with Santa on December 1st to allow for more sessions.

It is only $85 to reserve your session with Santa. This comes with 2-5×7 and 8 wallets of your favorite image.

Hurry and call the studio today 813-994-4552 before your chance to experience Santa disappears for another year!

The Walker Baby and a Few with the Big Kids

Wesley Chapel and New Tampa Children Photography – 9 month baby portraits

Do you ever just hit it off with someone on the phone before you ever meet them? That happened with me and Sarah. She called a few weeks ago to book a session for her 9 month baby boy and her two older children. Timing was critical because he was about to outgrow his Christening outfit! She is speaking my language. I think this qualifies as a wardrobe emergency! We must defy the laws of physics and get this session scheduled no matter what!

We chatted forever about the session, different ideas, how they just moved here, jobs, kids, etc. We had everything set and fit in to the busy holiday schedule and then …. husbands happened. LOL … Glad it wasn’t mine this time! This was a good surprise though. Her husband was going to take the family to Orlando for the weekend we had the session scheduled. Yikes. Now we had to try and find various ways to get her rescheduled during a weekday without pulling her older kids out of school and when I wasn’t already booked with Christmas sessions. Thank goodness for Veteran’s day (for many reasons, obviously) but for this case, it was a God-send. The kids had off of school, and I had an opening that timed perfect with the baby’s nap! Yeah :) It was meant to be!

When she walked in the door I felt like we knew each other for years. I love that! Her children were absolutely adorable as well.

Here are some of the images from the session. Everything went so well. The baby was happy the entire time and his older brother and sister had a great time as well posing with their baby brother.

Of course we can’t forget the very important Christening outfit!! This is seriously one of the best ones I have seen for a boy! LOVE IT :)

And to finish off the session … don’t you love a baby that throws up their hands and says “NO MORE PHOTOS” … well not literally of course, but that is what it looks like!

I hope you enjoyed the sharing from this session. Leave a comment telling us what you think! I am sure the mom will love to hear all the LOVE!

The Peppermint Forest

Wesley Chapel and Tampa’s Premier Children and Family Portrait Studio – Christmas is here!

Today we kicked off our first Christmas Limited Edition Portrait set of 2010! Last night it was all hands on deck painting peppermints, wrapping trees, laying snow and getting the studio stripped of all the Halloween decorations! We have a great team working together and today proved it. The set was finished on time and it looks amazing!!

Our first sessions began in the afternoon and from what I can tell, this is going to be an awesome week. The kids today had a great time, especially when they found out they were going to get to eat a “real” lollipop!

If you are interested in reserving one of the remaining Peppermint Forest Sessions this week, you better call the studio before the snow melts and the peppermints are gone!! Call us 813-994-4552. The sessions are only $35 and packages start at $95. Your kids will have a ton of fun … we guarantee it!

I will post more images from the forest soon … keep checking back!
